Abstract

The present paper through a discussion of the therapeutic value of autobiographical narratives of disease seeks to emphasize the importance of Lance Armstrong?s autobiography, showing how someone after once having physically and emotionally devastated by a disease like cancer, and bearing the stigma of socio-cultural myths and constructions of the disease can come out triumphant and attain regeneration through an indomitable will to survive and live. ? 2016 National Association for Poetry Therapy.
