Abstract
A proficient and feasible approach towards polysubstituted quinolone conjugated 4H-pyrans has been elucidated. The illustrated phenomenon concern with the base-mediated multicomponent reaction and subsequent copper-catalyzed hydroxylation of C-X bond emerging in an amide functionality.
