dc.description.abstract | Pyridine and pyrimidine derivatives are important chemical compounds with tremendous biological applications. Fusion of pyrimidine moiety with different heterocycle scaffolds gives rise to a new class of hybrid heterocycles possessing improved activity. In our project work, we synthesized pyridine derivatives (Nicotinonitrile) and thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine derivatives which may be further explored to generate novel compounds with several biological activities. | en_US |
