The receptors were characterized by FTIR, EI-MS, 1H and 13C NMR. UV-visible studies were performed with receptor 2-5 cone and 6th 1-3,aternate. (2x10-4) upon addition of Naphthalene, Anthracene and Pyrene. Upon addition of Naphthalene, Anthracene and Pyrene the UV-visible absorption showed hyperchromic shift.
